From a very young age, I’ve always been aware of and in relationship with Spirit. This profound connection first led me to explore life as a nun in a community in South Africa. Later, it guided me to ordination in the Church of England, where I was privileged and overjoyed to be among the first 32 women ordained as Anglican (Episcopalian) Priests.
In recent years, my calling has evolved into the practice of Shamanism so that Grief therapy may also include Shamanic Healing. This combined, integrated approach is available only after full discussion with you and with your complete consent
Since childhood, I’ve felt a continuous golden thread running through my life: the tending of the dying, those who grieve, and the dead.
As a Parish Priest, I supported and cared for the sick and dying at all hours, offering comfort to the bereaved often for months after their loss.
Joining the NHS as a Healthcare Chaplain was a natural extension of this work, allowing me to support individuals whose lives have been upended by illness, bereavement, or accidents.
Personally, I’ve faced many challenges and losses, some of which brought me to my knees for a long time. These experiences have deepened my empathy and shaped my belief that healing is always possible.
Grief is a universal experience, yet so often, it feels isolating and overwhelming.
Whether you need support after a loss, need tools to manage emotional pain, or want to explore the deeper realms of your spirit, I am here to help.
I enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I love walking in the woods with my dogs, gardening, reading, and listening to a wide variety of music.
Nature, creativity, loving relationships, and spiritual practices are fundamental to nurturing my own well-being.
I would love to hear from you if you are interested in my work as a Grief Therapist or Shamanic Practitioner.
I’d be honoured to accompany you on your journey toward healing and renewal.
I provide a safe compassionate opportunity to explore your emotions, embrace the major grief-induced changes in your life, and reconnect with your life once more.
Through the practices of Grief Therapy and Shamanic Healing, I guide people to release emotional burdens, restore balance, and rediscover a sense of wholeness and peace.
My approach integrates Grief Therapy with the ancient spiritual wisdom of Shamanic Healing. Each healing resource is also offered entirely separately. Whichever therapeutic approach is chosen will be in response to your needs.
I'm also a Member of the Association of Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO).
