Member Benefits

  • We are committed to raising the brand awareness of the NCIP for sourcing psychotherapists, counsellors, and hypnotherapists in the UK and beyond. Our key message is that by choosing to be a member of the NCIP, an individual can be assured that they will be resolving their issues with an experienced practitioner.

  • Our website has a robust member profile area to ensure you can engage and connect with your potential and existing clients.

  • We welcome many modalities of professional psychotherapists, counsellors, and hypnotherapists. We are here to offer an integrated support and advisory service for practitioners who are looking for something different and more personal from their chosen professional body.

  • Whether you are a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, or counsellor, or have an integrated approach, we can accommodate all your many varied professional challenges under one roof. If your qualifications are of the right standard, membership in the NCIP means we can accommodate you!

  • We offer a transparent member accreditation process. This takes those qualified onto accredited and then senior accredited status. Our application form is detailed but this ensures we will match your status against these accreditation requirements when you join so that you join us at your correct level.

  • The Council is allowed to verify applications for CNHC registration and we encourage members to register to gain the CNHC quality mark. CNHC is the UK voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners that was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists. Find out more.

  • Many of our members are multi-disciplinary. This is not compulsory but we do encourage this for our members and offer access to a wide range of accredited training organisations.
