About Morag Stevenson - 362880^

Hi

if you're battling with stress, anxiety, overwhelm, or the feeling that you're not good enough, then you know how all of this can dent your confidence, physical wellness and happiness.

Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy is a practical, evidence-based short-term therapy which looks at what maintains your anxiety, fear, nervous habit or other difficulty in place and shows you the way out.

It gives you effective strategies to stop or control stress, anxiety, self-doubt, procrastination, overwhelm, imposter syndrome, fear, phobias, pain and compulsive nervous habits.

We work together as a team using a creative blend of cognitive behavioural therapy, hypnotherapy, relaxation, mindfulness and coaching techniques.

Certain thoughts, feelings or actions keep you stuck where you are because you don’t have the keys to recognise, challenge or change them. When we unravel what is happening, you can quite quickly turn around your limiting beliefs, unwanted behaviours and scary feelings.

When you use the deeply relaxed hypnotic mindset to your advantage, you swap current unhelpful thoughts feelings, and behaviours for more self-loving ones that revitalize, and lead to more self-assured behaviour. The positive upward spiral can begin!

You discover a practical toolbox of mind skills you can use in your life whenever you need it. You know how to maintain greater control, calm and confidence in the face of life’s ups and downs.

My particular area of expertise and specialisation is with clients who suffer with compulsive hair-pulling or skin-picking. I also work with people suffering with Functional Neurological Disorder.

Techniques I use in my sessions with you

I choose from a variety of different approaches during our sessions which can include cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, relaxation techniques, mindfulness and also astrological counselling.

Online and Face to Face individual sessions

I work online giving you the freedom to have treatment from wherever you’re based. I’m bilingual in French and English and so am fortunate to have clients from the UK, Europe and all over the world.

When I'm in the UK, I also offer Face to Face sessions in Teddington.

If you are ready to take the next step or have any questions, please send me an email or give me a call on 07862 822063.

Testimonial

"Morag has a calm perceptive presence which is reassuring and what you need in times of crisis or periods of unease. She is extremely perceptive making it easier for you to understand and find solutions for particular issues"

Alice Baker London (UK)

"The sessions via video were a strong point as I felt at ease in a chosen, comfortable, familiar, space. She is gentle, professional, and an extremely good listener; I felt in very safe hands. Hypnosis is wrongly advertised as a loss of control at the hands of the practitioner when it’s quite the opposite. The tools, the keys, or the options are within ourselves and Morag is the perfect person to help us find and apply them. I can highly recommend her as a therapist."
