Hello! I work as an integrative psychotherapist, yoga therapist and integrative yoga psychotherapist, combining talk therapy with 'bottom up' approaches. These may include mindfulness, breath work, posture and movement, Integrative Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) and other techniques to work with the whole person, in their bio-psycho-social-spiritual aspects.
My experience is especially appropriate for working with clients dealing with trauma, attachment issues, anxiety and depression, burn-out, and chronic pain. I also work with people who are looking to live their lives in a fuller, freer, more meaningful way.
Life-stage transitions, such as menopause, 'empty nest', career changes, preparation for retirement, redundancy, starting university, divorce or separation, raise many questions about who am I and how do I want to be. Having a non-judgemental space to be heard and explore new possibilities can help to provide clarity and direction.
As well as my private practice, I work for the charity Body and Soul and as a senior supervisor and advisory board member for The Minded Institute. I am co-course director and lecturer for the Institute's Integrative Yoga Psychotherapy training. I offer clinical supervision for external practitioners.
I welcome clients to see me in central London (WC1), in Jersey, and online.
