I'm a psychotherapist, working from a transpersonal, integrative and holistic perspective. My approach is humanistic, insight based and compassionate.
In addition to weekly therapy sessions, I offer more intensive support including breakthrough therapy where therapy takes place over several hours or sometimes days. If it is appropriate, I offer more frequent sessions to clients who need this level of support. Conversely, for some people single session therapy can be very fruitful.
I help individuals going through relationship challenges, working to bring clarity and defining the best solutions and outcomes.
I have a particular interest and expertise in working with anxiety and body dysmorphia, the subject of my masters thesis and connected with my own history. I am one of a few a lived experience therapists working with this challenging disorder.
I also work with young men who are going through difficulties transitioning into healthy adulthood, their issues often include self esteem, anger and life meaning and purpose.
Other areas of interest include grief, addiction, crises of meaning, spiritual emergence and emergency.
I work face to face in my counselling room (both in central London and in Essex or in nature which I find particularly helpful when working with teenagers). I am also willing to travel to see some clients. Most of my work is online, in this way I see clients from across the English speaking world.
I have experience facilitating groups. I run a meditation circle in my community.
I'm involved with setting up local mental healthcare and psycho-education projects for youths.
I'm fully insured and DBS checked. I have ongoing supervision.
My work is rigorously ethical and fully confidential.
